When I was a kid my whole family piled into a car and drove out to Wyoming every summer. Great memories from those drives.

actually for Valentine’s Day just a few weeks ago I roadtripped with two of my best friends to visit another friend who is in the Navy and stationed in VA Beach. It was so much fun, the four of us have known eachother since grade school but because we all live in seperate states now this was a great reunion.

Most of my roadtrips I’d rather forget. My dream is to drive to Canada (up the East Coast) with friends. We have lots of family along the way we could stay with.

My dream road trip would most definitely be to just drive from state to state at all the amusement parks, regular parks, scenery spots, and malls across America. And it would HAVE to be with my three best friends. That would be such a perfect trip!

My favorite roadtrip is probably the one between my house in WNY and Florida. It’s always kind of fun and I get lots of time to read when I’m not driving. We do it every Thanksgiving and it’s always great.
My funniest roadtrip is the time some friends and I drove to Barrie, ON to see Radiohead at the Molson Amphitheater. We got lost about 5 times on the way there and missed all of the opening bands (it was a four hour trip that took about seven hours). Then on the way home we were like “hey look! last time we saw that street we were lost…oh wait…” I didn’t think we’d ever get out of Canada and back to the States.

I’d love to drive across the country or up to New York. I’m in Florida and have never been to NY. The only road trip I’ve been on was to Atlanta lol. It was fun! Not very long though.

A road trip? I think I would want to do a road trip with internet friends, but I’m not sure to do what. Maybe make a list of author signings and travel around the country, either following the authors, seeking a variety of authors, or a combination? Or maybe hitting indie bookstores across the country? Something like that, I think. 🙂

My dream road trip would be just crusing from coast to coast, checking out the big places for the shopping, and little out of the way places just because they’d be different, special, and unique.

My favorite roadtrip was travelling through Colorado. Just the scenic beauty of this area was inspiring and awesome. I wished that I could drive forever in this vast and beautiful area.

well i’ve been to several cities in andalusia and by bus it was perfect if not more. so my dream roadtrip would be a proper road trip of andalusia, stopping in the beautiful little villages with those white washed walls, and savoring it all.

My favorite was driving to Indy to go to a Maroon 5 concert. The navigator was incorrect and we went down this dead end road that was totally filled with potholes. We were going pretty fast and kept veering from side to side to avoid falling in the holes. It was so much fun!

My favorite roadtrip I’ve ever taken is driving across the US! All the way to New York from Washington. It took SO LONG but it was SO WORTH it. I would like to do that again some day.

I must have lost my last post. I also added this contest to my blog last week and forgot to add me comment! Duh. I didn’t see a cut off date so I hope it’s not too late.
We’ve always wanted to take our family from our home in NY state to visit relatives in FL. We never had enough money in the past and now my health problems make it hard for me to travel. My kids have never seen the ocean or FL. I would love to take a long, casual drive with many stops along the way before my kids get to old to hang out with us. Thanks for your contest! Sounds like a great book.

I went on a road trip with a friend to scandanavia that was really fun even though we had no money. We camped and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches but still, it was magical!

+1 My perfect roadtrip would be one with my friends around Europe, stopping wherever we want and doing whatever we want, without much thinking and preparation, just like thinking “Ok, let’s hit the road!!”

My favorite road trip was the one i took last year from Utah my home state all the way to Michighan. I couldn’t beleive it when there were finally no more mountains. It was even better because i went with my boyfriend and his family. I think the thing that really put the trip as one of my all time favorites was the TREES!!!!!!! I couldn’t beleive that so many trees could be in one spot. It is definitely my top vacation. I was also amazed at seeing fireflys it was the first time I ever saw them. We did so much fun stuff and it was interesting to see where my boyfriend grew up. It was interesting to see how different things are the farther you go from home.

I would honestly love to travel across the entire United States… I’m from Canada and I would love to see more of my country as well (I’ve already been East), but I studied a lot of American history in university and I haven’t been to a lot of places in the states. I’d love to visit Nashville, as well as go to Disney World in Florida.

Favorite road trip was to Corpus Christi from Austin during spring break with a boyfriend when I was in college at UT. Not a care in the world and totall fun.

I’ve had this dream road trip in mind since I was about 13. One day…someday…I will get a van and just take off across country, stopping at every horrible attraction site, whatever peice of history I find along the way, and I’ll spend the entire time writing.

My favorite roadtrip was when I went to Florida. My friend went with my family and she told me ghost stories. It scared the lights out of me. My parents also told us to watch out for alligators. I had a lot of fun, traveling to Florida.

My best road trip was when I went with three friends to an old abandoned train tunnel. We drove for about an hour, and sang to music at the top of our lungs.

My favorite road trip was cross country with my dad after I graduated from high school. We made our way from Rhode Island to California and spent the whole summer on the road. It was my dad, step mom, and me, and it could not have been grander. We stopped at all the silly road side attactions and took tons of pictures. I also met a lot of boys and that was a high priority to me back then. the whole thing was amazing. I dream of doing the same thing with my son when he graduates from high school. 🙂 Great giveaway!

My favourite road trip was a year ago with my family. We drove from Singapore all the way to Malacca. It was a scenic six hour drive. The best view was at the top of a mountain. Fog gathered and made it hard to see anything, but once it cleared… wow. A green landscape, all the palm and rubber trees giving way to a wintry blue sky.
Sadly, it was our last roadtrip but it was amazing nonetheless especially since it was spent with my favourite people in the world.
