I think bravery and doing things no one else is willing to do in the face of adversity makes a hero.

What makes a hero is selflessness. Being willing to save somebody who needs saving even if its a pain in your butt.

A hero is someone who always works for the better and works to their best ability.

Good question! A hero to me would be someone willing to do what is best for others and to be able to make any sacrifice for it.

Thanks for the contest!

I thnk living mindfully and working to do more harm than good makes someone heroic in day to day living

A hero is someone who does something even though they are afraid to do it.

I would love to be included in your giveaway. To me what makes a hero is love. I love my brother and he was my hero.

[+1] Well, I haven’t thought all that much on what makes a hero. I guess, to me, a hero is somebody who does what needs to be done, even if they are afraid or unwilling.

Doing something that will have give that person nothing and might even cost them something all for the benefit of someone else.

A Hero is a person who
When life puts them to the test
Rises above their ego & fear
And tries to do their best

(Do I get points for creativity?)

Being a hero means helping people who don’t necessarily deserve it.

This is a quote from Bob Dylan that I think perfectly describes what a hero is.

“I think of a hero as someone who understands the degree of responsibility that comes with his freedom.”
